Sydani Technologies ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Mannor Resident mobile application and associated services. We are dedicated to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of personally identifiable information entrusted to us ("Personal Data"). As part of that fundamental obligation, we are committed to protecting the use of the Personal Data which we collect through our services.

This privacy policy ("Privacy Statement") sets out the basis upon which we will process, store, and disclose any Personal Data that is provided voluntarily by users of our services ("you" or "your") in connection with the services that we offer.

Age Restriction

Our services are intended solely for persons who are 13 years of age and above, and any registration by, use of or access to the services by any person under 13 is unauthorized and in violation of this Privacy Statement. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not send us or submit your Personal Data.

For users between 13-18 years, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use our services, in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

While using our services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information ("Personal Data"). This may include:

Personal Information:

  • Name and Phone Number
  • Residential Address (Block/Unit Number)
  • Email address
  • Vehicle Registration Numbers

Visitor Information:

  • Visitor names and phone numbers
  • Access codes and gate pass information
  • Visit dates and times

4.2. Automatic Collection

Information about your computer and mobile device hardware and software may be automatically collected by us. This information can include: your IP address and location, browser and device name, type and version, operating system type and version, language preferences, access times and dates, and other usage statistics.

5. Device Access and Permissions

To provide estate management features, we request the following permissions:

CAMERA:

Used to capture profile photos, scan QR codes for access, or document maintenance issues to report to facility management.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES:

Used to upload proof of payment, identification documents, or existing photos of maintenance issues.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE:

Used to save receipts, gate pass images, or generated invoices to your device.

INTERNET:

Required to sync your data with the Facility Management servers.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use Personal Data about you in the following ways:

  • To provide you access to our services
  • To improve and maintain performance of our applications
  • To provide customer service and support
  • For statistical analysis and service improvement
  • To detect and prevent illegal activities or fraud
  • To ensure compliance with our policies and applicable laws
  • To notify you about changes to our services
  • To process payments and manage billing

7. Disclosure of Data

We may disclose your Personal Data in the following specific situations unique to estate management:

To Estate/Facility Administrators:

Your data (Name, Unit Number, Payment Status) is accessible to the authorised Facility Managers of the estate where you reside. This is necessary to verify your residency and process service requests.

To Security Personnel:

Limited information (e.g., Visitor Name, Gate Code validity) is shared with security guards at your estate's entry points to facilitate access control.

Service Providers:

We employ third-party companies to facilitate payments or host our servers. All such third parties are prohibited from using your Personal Data except to enable us to provide the Services to you.

8. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as you are a registered resident on the platform. If you move out of an estate, your data may be archived or deleted in accordance with the estate's specific data retention policy.

Where we don't need to keep all of your Personal Data, we may anonymize it to ensure that we do not retain your Personal Data for any longer than is necessary.

9. Security

We employ reasonable efforts to keep your Personal Data secure by taking appropriate technical and organizational measures against its unauthorized or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage. We protect your Personal Data using physical, technical, and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration.

However, no data transmission over the internet or wireless network can be 100% guaranteed. Therefore, while we strive to protect your Personal Data, you acknowledge that there are security and privacy limitations beyond our control.

10. Data Breach

In the event we become aware that the security of our services has been compromised or users' Personal Information has been disclosed to unrelated third parties as a result of an external activity, we reserve the right to take reasonably appropriate measures, including investigation and reporting, as well as notification to and cooperation with law enforcement authorities.

In the event of a data breach, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals if we believe that there is a reasonable risk of harm to the user as a result of the breach.
